It's time to take another look at the Sydney CBD

The Sydney Blog is back! And so apparently is the Sydney CBD. With the ever so slow reveal of the new George Street continuing, a trickle of new food and beverage offerings that set out to test the waters threatens to turn into a flood.

Postcode 2000 has already seen the likes of Bang Bang Izakaya, Bar Patron by Rockpool, Bar Topa, Bistecca, Edition Coffee Roasters, Matteo Downtown, Old Mate's Place and The Doss House come in to port this year.

Ironically, it was just as the unseasonal spring rains started to clear that the flood gates truly opened. Now it appears Santa and Rudolph will be riding a wave into town on Christmas Eve to enjoy more than just milk and a stale biscuit on Christmas night. Here are six (very) new F&B offerings for the last 36 days of 2018.
